Shape Shifting is a site-specific wall installation of powder coated aluminum panels. Each panel hovers at varying distances away from the concrete wall which they are mounted on, with their shadows shifting constantly throughout the day and activating the surrounding negative space. Three of the installation components are kinetic and designed to rotate on a custom bracket inset with sealed bearings. Pin lights are set into the concrete wall behind several of the shapes to create a back glow of color onto the wall at night.
